Indians Slip By Mistake Prone Dawgs, 20-7
The Dawgs were their own worst enemy Friday night at Booster Stadium.  Two fumbles and timely penalties gave the Indians enough momentum to take a 14-0 halftime lead into the dressing room.  It looked a though Coach Mark Stroud gave the Dawgs an ear full at halftime. The Dawgs took their first possession in for a TD to cut Vidalia's lead to 14-7.  The Dawgs held the Indians on their next drive and appeared to have the momentum, driving again for the tying TD.  An unsportsman-like penalty was called on the Vidalia coaching staff but it took the referees about 5 minutes to decide the ruling which, by that time, took away the  Dawgs' momentum.  The Indians held on downs and immediately scored a TD of their own, thus sealing the Dawgs fate and snapping the 8-game winning streak over the Indians and also the    23-game home winning streak.

Dawgs Lose to SEB in OT,      20-19
The importance of having a good kicking game was the difference in this crucial region game.  The Mark Stroud era has produced strong teams but the kicking game seems to be the weak point year after year.  And SEB proved that point Friday night in the Pit, as the Dawgs lost for the second time in as many games.  SEB took a 10-0 lead in the first quarter.  TCHS closed the score with their own TD in the second, missing an all-important extra point kick. The Dawgs held SEB at the 1-foot line as the half expired.   TCHS took the lead in the third quarter 13-10, this time making the PAT.  SEB drove for a TD of their own to take a 16-13 lead, but TCHS scored a 4th qtr TD to take a 19-16 lead, again missing the PAT which would eventually lead to their demise.  SEB, with their strong kicker, nailed a 45-yard field goal late to knot the score at 19 to sent the game into overtime.  Reports have it that SEB barely missed a 51-yard field goal earlier.  After both teams went scoreless in the OT period, SEB was rewarded the win due to the penetration rule.  The highest seed TCHS can expect in the playoff now would be the #3 slot.

Dawgs Bury Jeff Davis Early, 35-0
Toombs traveled to Hazelhurst to take on the Yellow Jackets who usually battle the Dawgs tooth and nail.  But this time the Dawgs were ready and jumped out to a 28-point first quarter lead and never looked back.
